The Scientific Exploration Society is a UK-based charity founded in 1969
by Colonel John Blashford-Snell OBE and his colleagues. As a non-profit
making organisation the SES initiates a worldwide programme of
scientific expeditions focusing on scientific, conservation, education
and community aid projects.

The Haggis Hunt season begins on St Andrews Day, 30 November and ends on Burns Night, January 25th (the date when traditionally the Burns Supper is held.) Details may be found on the Haggis Hunt web site.
